Renovating a Small Space for More Efficient Living
The original interior layout of this humble home had some spatial, functional and circulation issues. In order to make this small floor plan more efficient and livable, I relocated the kitchen and created another bath and foyer, all within the original footprint. I also relocated the front door and designed an entirely new front entry. The home’s aged interior wood paneling was salvaged and strategically reused in the newly designed areas. An existing modular addition received new exterior and interior finishes, which integrated it seamlessly into the character and feel of rest of the home.
